This Privacy Policy describes how StationQR handles information in connection with stationqr.in and enquiries sent to our contact email.
StationQR provides independent railway station guides and QR booking information. We do not operate railway ticketing accounts or process ticket payments.
Information You Send to Us
When you email us, we receive your email address, your name if you provide it, the contents of your message and any attachments you send. We use this information to respond to your enquiry, review a reported correction or address a website-related concern.
Please send only the information needed for your request. We do not need railway login credentials, OTPs, UPI PINs or full payment-card details to review a station guide.
Technical Information
Website hosting and security infrastructure may process technical information when a page is requested. Depending on the services and configuration in use, this can include an IP address, request time, requested page, browser information and error or security logs.
Such information may be used to deliver pages, investigate errors, protect the website and prevent abuse. The information handled and its retention depend on the relevant infrastructure and service settings.

Google AdSense and Future Advertising
Google AdSense is not currently enabled on StationQR as of the date above. We may introduce advertising in the future.
Before enabling advertising, we will update this policy to identify the services in use and explain their data collection, cookies and privacy choices. If Google AdSense is introduced, third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on visits to this and other websites. Google’s advertising cookies can enable Google and its partners to serve personalised advertising based on browsing activity.

This section describes a possible future service; it does not mean that Google advertising is currently active on StationQR.
External Websites and Railway Apps
Our guides may link to official railway services, app stores or other sources. When you leave StationQR, the destination website or app handles information according to its own privacy policy.
StationQR does not receive or manage the login credentials or payment information you enter directly into an external railway booking service.
Retention and Security
We retain correspondence for as long as reasonably needed to handle the enquiry, maintain a relevant record or meet applicable obligations. Technical-log retention depends on service-provider settings. Information that is no longer needed should be deleted or anonymised where practical.
We aim to restrict access to enquiry information and use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the website. No internet transmission or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure.
Your Privacy Requests
You may email us to ask about information you have sent, request a correction or request deletion of correspondence. We may need information to confirm that the request relates to you.
Requests will be considered subject to applicable law and any information that must be retained for legitimate security or legal reasons. Rights and requirements may differ according to your location.
Children’s Information
StationQR is intended as a general information website and does not ask children to submit personal details. If you believe a child has sent us personal information that should be removed, contact us so we can review the request.
