Airoli Station QR Code – RailOne App Booking Guide

Airoli connects Navi Mumbai’s residential and employment areas with the Trans-Harbour railway corridor. Digha Gaon is the next station towards Thane, while Rabale is next towards Vashi and Panvel. This distinction matters when planning your journey using the Airoli station QR code. UTS QR posters at Indian stations are usually near ticket counters or the concourse. At Mumbai suburban stations the QR stickers are pasted near station entrances and ticket counters. Scan the official poster in RailOne, Indian Railways’ official super app. The old standalone UTS app was discontinued on 1 March 2026, with unreserved booking services transferred to RailOne.

How to Book a Ticket Using the QR Code at Airoli Station

  1. Download and sign in: Download the RailOne app on Android or iOS. Log in with your IRCTC username and password, or register with your mobile number (OTP verification). Use the same mobile number to access migrated R-Wallet funds.
  2. Reach Airoli: Be at or near Airoli station and open the RailOne app.
  3. Find QR booking: On the home screen tap “Unreserved Tickets” (it may appear under the UTS section) and open the QR scan/booking option.
  4. Scan the official poster: Scan the official Airoli station QR code poster through the RailOne app. Confirm that the originating station displayed is Airoli.
  5. Choose your ticket: In the RailOne app, select destination, ticket type, class and passenger count. Thane is towards Digha Gaon; Ghansoli is towards Rabale.
  6. Pay and confirm: Pay through an available UPI, netbanking or wallet option. Confirm the issued ticket appears inside the RailOne app. Screenshots are NOT accepted by ticket examiners.

Practical tip: Check the destination indicator before boarding at Airoli. A Vashi-terminating service will not carry you directly to Panvel.

Frequently Asked Questions About the Airoli Station QR Code

Q. Can I book from home, and is internet needed?
Use Airoli’s official station poster for QR booking, rather than a shared photograph. Internet is needed to complete booking and payment before boarding a Trans-Harbour local.
Q. What if Airoli’s poster will not scan?
Check camera permission, clean the lens and avoid reflections. If scanning fails, buy a ticket at Airoli’s counter before boarding towards Thane or Rabale.
Q. Can I book a platform ticket to meet someone at Airoli?
Yes. RailOne’s QR booking supports platform tickets — after scanning Airoli’s QR, select “platform ticket” as the ticket type, confirm Airoli as the station, and pay online. The QR-based platform ticket is saved inside the app. Note: a platform ticket does not permit train travel.
Q. What happened to my UTS wallet and Airoli season ticket?
Standalone UTS ended on 1 March 2026; booking now happens in RailOne. R-Wallet balances transfer automatically using the same number. Season tickets and other existing bookings stay linked to your account on that number — verify them inside the app after logging in.
Q. Can I send someone a ticket, and must I carry photo ID?
Show ordinary paperless tickets live in the booking app; forwarded screenshots are invalid. Valid photo ID, such as Aadhaar or Voter ID, is mandatory for RailOne unreserved tickets from 15 July 2026; carry the matching ID.
